Spruce from Middleton Primary School and Silver Birch from Yoxford and Peasonhall Primary School had a wonderful visit to The Sainsbury Centre at the UEA in Norwich, where they explored a fantastic range of sculptures from across the world. They spent time looking closely at the shapes, textures and forms of the artworks, which sparked lots of thoughtful discussion and curiosity. Inspired by what they saw, the children then created their own sculptures, using their imaginations and ideas to experiment with shape and structure. It was a brilliant opportunity to learn outside the classroom and see how art can inspire creativity in so many different ways. A big thank you to the team at the Sainsbury Centre for such an inspiring experience! #Kate Monroe #SainsburyCentre

What an incredible morning/afternoon at Fa La La Fest! Our students had an amazing time celebrating music at the stunning Leiston Abbey. A huge thank you to @Pro Corda for hosting this wonderful event, with the generous support of the @LeistonEducationPartnership, as well as the Kingfisher Schools Trust. The lovely photos were taken by Alison Self who did a great job to capture the day! We were treated to truly inspiring performances, including breathtaking music from talented musicians of @St Catharine's College Cambridge. A Magical Surprise in Middleton! This week, we had the most unexpected visitor... George, the Smartest Giant in Town! The class loved reading his message and were absolutely thrilled to write back to him during their Literacy lesson. Their imaginations soared, and their letters were full of kindnessjust the way George would like it.

This week, the children in Spruce constructed solar stills and placed them in different areas around the school to investigate where the most filtered water could be produced. They have also been developing their practical skills by using a range of woodwork tools in preparation for building a raft of their own design. We are also proud of the fantastic balanced arguments the children have written.

We are holding an open afternoon at Middleton Primary School this Wednesday. Feel free to share

What a Wonderful Week in Ash Class! This week our learning was full of creativity, teamwork, and lots of giggles! Animal Friend Band! The children had a fantastic time designing and making their own musical instruments to help their animal friends start a band. We explored different sounds, materials, and rhythmssuch imaginative ideas! Interpretive Emotions Dance We paired up for a special movement session where the children created dances to show different emotions. From happy twirls to stompy angry feet, they worked beautifully with their partners to express feelings through dance. Germ-Busting Lesson with the Dollies They showed the Ash Class dollies how to stop the spread of germs by practising proper handwashing, catching coughs and sneezes, and keeping shared spaces clean. Such brilliant little health heroes!

We were delighted to welcome visitors from I Made This charity, who worked with the children to create their very own animation videos such a fantastic experience!
