Welcome to Ash Class.  We are a caring, happy and friendly class combining Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.  

The children are at the heart of all we do and we are committed to ensuring that all our children have the best possible start in life.  Happy, secure children will make the most of their learning and social skills and Mrs Pain our Teaching Assistant and I feel privileged to be part of their learning journey through Middleton Primary School.

Our expectations are high and active learning encouraged and every child is valued as an individual and given opportunities to reach their full potential and enjoy their life at school.  As each child moves to the next year group in our mixed age class we watch them flourish and grow.  

Children are born ready, able and eager to learn. They actively reach out to interact with other people, and in the world around them. Development is not an automatic process, however, it depends on each unique child having opportunities to interact in positive relationships and enabling environments and we pride ourselves on providing those opportunities in the classroom and outside learning spaces for all the children in Ash Class.
